Folder Structure Preview

RoboImport has a useful preview feature that shows the resulting folder and file structure before it is constructed. Most of the built-in file rename utilities also allow you to preview the results before changes are made for real. The real time folders structure preview allows you to choose the optimum folder naming strategy for your needs. Any poor choices or mistakes made when selecting a name scheme template can be easily seen and corrected before the folders are actually created.

All files or only the files in selected folders may be selected for transfer. Here is an example:

Assume your Subfolders template is "%smodel\%yyyy\%date". This means you will have set of folders with names like: 350D, D30, D200, and 7D. If you need to transfer only the Canon camera photos then select the first 350D and D30 folders and click on the Transfer button.
