How does RoboImport prevent duplicate photo image filenames?

Top  Previous  Next

Selecting an appropriate file naming scheme allows you to avoid file name collisions when importing images from your camera or copying files into the folder structure maintained by RoboImport. If you are reorganizing your existing file structure and the same images exist in separate folders the duplicate files will be marked with a "Duplicate" flag and only one file will be copied.

RoboImport verifies files for duplicates before any file transfers. After the verification process completes you will be notified if duplicate file names exist. This feature may be switched off in Options > General
