DAM platform profile

PhotoShelter: DAM software reviewed

Buy it if

You're a mid-size to enterprise marketing/comms, sports, education, government, healthcare, manufacturing, nonprofit, or consumer-brand team that wants a fully managed cloud DAM covering both photo and video, with AI-assisted tagging/visual search, sports-style athlete/jersey tagging, license-expiration (rights) alerts, a brandable sharing portal, SSO, and social content distribution/analytics baked in, and you're fine buying through a custom quote per named seat + storage tier.

Do not buy it if

You need an on-premise, self-hosted, or hybrid deployment (PhotoShelter's own pages only describe a cloud/SaaS "private, secure storage system" with no on-prem option mentioned); you need self-serve published pricing without a sales call; you need CAD/3D asset support; or you need shipped C2PA/Content Credentials verification today (PhotoShelter has only joined the Content Authenticity Initiative and states it "plans to" build such features, not that it has).

Published price No
Billed on Quote-only. Annual or monthly billing toggle shown on the pricing page, but no dollar amounts are published — all tiers show a "Get Pricing" CTA to a demo/sales call.
