Bandwidth cost is the combined price of moving data into and out of cloud storage — egress on downloads plus the transfer and processing behind previews, transcoding, and CDN delivery.

Why it matters in a DAM

A DAM's real bandwidth bill isn't just what end users download — every thumbnail regeneration, every video proxy created for browsing, every sync to a connected PIM or e-commerce platform moves data and can carry its own cost.
