It&#8217;s not automatically implied by &#8220;the company owns this photo&#8221; or &#8220;we have a licence for it&#8221; \u2014 the licence itself has to say commercial use is allowed, and any identifiable people or distinctive property in the frame need their own releases.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a DAM, this status is the gate that lets marketing and creative teams self-serve from a shared library instead of routing every campaign asset through legal individually.
